Laurel Kupka joined the firm in 2018. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas, with University Honors. She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2011. While in law school, she interned with the Honorable John W. Lungstrum, a federal judge for the District of Kansas, and completed an externship with Kansas Legal Services. Laurel was also a research assistant for law school faculty and served on the executive board of the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy.
Laurel’s practice now focuses exclusively on family law issues, including divorce, parentage, modifications, and enforcement matters. Her experience in other areas of civil and criminal law allows her to provide a unique perspective when meeting with clients. She is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri. Laurel is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Johnson County Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, and previously participated in the Johnson County Family Law American Inn of Court.
A lifelong Kansas resident, Laurel is an enthusiastic sports fan and enjoys spending time with her family.
